(Dr.) Steven Ong, PharmD, RPh

Steven Ong is a Board-Certified Pharmacist with a strong and growing background in pharmacy. As part of the dedicated team at Desert Senita Community Health Center, he brings years of hands-on experience and a deep commitment to patient care.

With over eight years of experience in pharmacy settings—primarily in retail and some

in hospital environments—Steven’s journey began as a pharmacy technician trainee. He progressed through roles as a pharmacy intern and graduate intern before becoming a licensed pharmacist.

He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson, where he studied for four years while gaining practical experience as an intern at various institutions. After graduating in 2023, he accepted his first pharmacist position at Desert Senita Community Health Center.

Outside of work, Steven enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, grilling a great steak, going to the gym, relaxing with his dog, and taking long naps. His personal goals include making his family proud, living a fulfilling life, and providing his loved ones with opportunities and experiences they’ve never had.

Steven chose to join Desert Senita because of the hardworking, compassionate team that consistently goes above and beyond for their patients. His mission is to make the pharmacy experience easy, comfortable, and enjoyable for every patient. He looks forward to growing alongside Desert Senita and the communities it serves.
