Dr. Gorky Herrera, MD, GPSYCH is a board-certified Doctor of Medicine specializing in geriatric psychiatry.

At Desert Senita Community Health Center, Dr. Herrera collaborates closely with patients and their entire care teams to ensure they receive the highest quality care possible.

Like many of the outstanding healthcare providers and clinicians at Desert Senita, Dr. Herrera brings extensive training and experience to his role. He has over 35 years of experience in healthcare.

His education includes studies at Central del Este University, psychiatry residency training at the University of Texas Medical School, and specialized geriatric psychiatry training at the University of Miami School of Medicine.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Herrera enjoys cars and water sports.
